Founder and Clinical Psychologist
I’m Dr. Ashley N. Craft, PsyD, LLP—a clinical psychologist and the founder of Hues of Healing. This practice isn’t just something I built. It’s something I became.
My journey has moved through many rooms: group therapy spaces in schools layered with untold stories, hospital corridors steeped in urgency and hope, private practice offices where truth quietly unfolds, and leadership tables where clinical systems are challenged and reimagined.
I’ve served as a Vice President of Clinical Services, provided consult to the Detroit Police Department on matters of mental and emotional wellness, and used my clinical voice in legal cases where psychological insight helps illuminate the deeper currents beneath behavior.
These experiences weren’t just roles—they were hues in my becoming. Each one sharpened my lens and shaped me into a more attuned, grounded psychologist. They deepened my belief that healing is not linear, sterile, or one-dimensional. It is relational. Sacred. And deserving of care that honors its complexity.
As a relational-cultural psychologist, I believe healing happens through connection—not isolation. Growth blooms through authenticity, mutuality, and the restoration of voice.
I believe therapy should feel like an exhale. Like space made just for you.
At Hues of Healing, care is not rushed—it’s curated. Not clinical in the cold sense, but in the clearest, most compassionate one.
This is where softness is protected, truth is reflected, and you are never asked to shrink to be supported.
Here, you’re invited to meet yourself fully—and unfold in every hue you carry.
